The department of International Trade conducted a national workshop on the imposition of sanctions on employees in public sector which was held at the central library of the UoH on the 10th of May 2023.
At the beginning, Mr. Kosar Osman Azam presented a seminar entitled, “Discipline of Public Employees” in which he discussed the penalties in amendment Article 14 of 1991. According to this article, numerous measures and sanctions were set for the public sector employees for serving public sector.
After that, Mr. Barzan Ali Rahim presented a seminar and discussed the guarantees that public employees have when they are accused. The guarantees are available before the investigation, during the investigation and after the investigation and also before being punished.
