Department of Social Sciences and Media Department held a workshop on Kurdish Journalism Schools and the Historical Situation of the Uprising at the seminar hall at the Basic Education College on the 9th of May 2023.
Firstly, Mr. Ayub Khalid discussed the emergence of journalism in the world and the Middle East. Additionally, he also pointed to the historical situation in the four parts of Kurdistan where journalism emerged. Then, Mr. Ahmad Qadir Sirwani discussed the schools of Kurdish journalism and stated that these schools are divided into four schools.
During the workshop, Mr. Ahmad Qadir Sirwani presented the characteristics of Kurdish journalism schools as well as the problems they face.
