Arabic Language Department held a workshop entitled, “In Different-Time Periods of Naguib Mahfouz From his Life and Examples of his Novels” in which a number of academic staff were present including Mr. Aso Ahmed, head of Arabic Language Department, and a number of lecturers.
Besides, Prof. Dr. Idris Karim Muhammed and Mr. Ihsan Burhan Aldeen Ameen presented presentations.
At first, Mr. Ihsan shed some light on the biography of the novelist Naguib Mahfouz.
Then, Dr. Idris cited his novels and illustrated the novelist’s way of writing novels. At the end, a detailed discussion was taken place about the topics of the workshop.
