UoH Medical Center held a workshop, for Dr. Mohammed Subhan and Dr. Zana Baqi entitled “’Vaccines and Their Roles in Preventing the Spread of Infectious Diseases: Covid-19 as an Example’’ on the 6th of October,2021 in which a number of lecturers from various departments of UoH attended. At the beginning Dr. Zana Baqi gave an explanation on vaccination, the types of vaccines, who can get vaccinated, and he threw some light on the role and benefits of vaccination and the positive impacts it has. Later, Dr. Muhmad Subhan gave a description on coronavirus, how the vaccine is created, why it is called Covid-19 pandemic, how it is spread and the transmissibility of Covid-19. He mentioned the symptoms, how to protect from the virus, who are those who cannot get vaccinated, and why they get covid-19, is it safe or not?
With an answer-and-question session, the workshop ended.
