The UoH delegation including Dr. Omkalthum, head of Geography department, the lecturer Mr.Mahmood Karim, and the lecturer Ms. Nian Wali, at the formal invitation of Ilam University participated in an international three-day conference entitled “Dust Storm”.

A number of seminars were presented on Dust in Kurdish, Arabic and English languages in the first two days.

The last day of the conference was devoted to make a scientific visit to the historical and geographical areas in Ilam city
