During the commemoration of the 36th anniversary of the Halabja Chemical Attack, Dr. Aram Mohammed Qadir, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced the opening of the College of Medicine at the University of Halabja. He presented the order to Prof. Mahabad Kamil Abdullah, the UoH president, and allocated two hundred million IQD for the college’s infrastructure. Dr. Aram expressed condolences for the tragic loss and emphasized the importance of the college in serving Kurdistan, particularly Halabja. He asked for support from all relevant parties to ensure the university’s excellence.
