On Sunday 18-9-2022 Dr.Mahabad Kamel Abdulla president of Hallabja University signed an agreement for academic and cultural cooperation.

The President of the University of Petra, Dr. Rami Abdel Rahim received in his office the delegation of the University of “Halabja” headed by the president of the university, Dr. Mahabad Kamel Abdullah.

Abdul Rahim gave the delegation a brief explanation about the University of Petra, its specializations, its achievements and international accreditations.
The signing of the agreement was attended by the Assistant President of the University for International Cooperation, Dr. Omar Atari and Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi.

The delegation also made a field visit to see the university’s facilities and learn about its specializations and the equipment of its academic facilities.

The agreement included the development of joint education and research projects, the organization of joint academic and scientific activities, such as study courses, conferences, seminars, symposia, or lectures, in addition to the exchange of researchers, faculty and students, and the exchange of publications and other materials of common interest, such as research and scientific periodicals.
