On the 26th of October 2021, in a special event in which Prof. Dr. Mahabad Kamil Abdullah, UoH president, Dr. Hussain, Dean of College of Basic Education, Head and number of lecturers of English Department attended. UoH awarded Certificate of Appreciation to a number of the lecturers and Students of English Department who participated in a workshop entitled “The Impact of COVID19 on the Process of Teaching and Learning English as a Foreign Language” which was organized by Coventry University and in collaboration with UoH English Department with the participation of the students from both morning and evening classes. The workshop lasted for one day on the 9th of June, 2021.

In the event, Prof. Dr. Mahabad presented a speech and appreciated the lecturers and students for their efforts in advancing the UoH. She hoped that better activity to be followed in the future.
