On Monday, August 9, 2021, a delegation from the University of Halabja headed by Dr. Mahabad Kamil Abdullah the president of the university and a number of university council members visited the University of Human Development. The delegation warmly welcomed by Professor Dr. Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed the president of Human Development.

In a meeting, both university council members discussed strengthening academic relations between the University of Human Development and the University of Halabja. Later the MOU was signed by both university presidents.

The memorandum of understanding between the University of Halabja and the Human Development University focuses on cooperation and coordination on the joint activities, programs, and participation in scientific conferences, symposia, and seminars.
Also, both parties decided on exchanging experience and information on the syllabi, the methodology of teaching, and the techniques applied to didactic processes.
