On the 8^th of March 2021, Dr. Mahabad Kamil Abdullah, UoH president, together with a number of Mr. Bakhtyar Jamil, head of committee of organizing the institutes and universities in Halabja, Dr. Karzan Abdullah, dean of Technical Institute of Halabja, a number of members of UoH council and a number of lecturers and students attended an event which was dedicated to the international women day which was arranged by college of Law and Administration in cooperation with Activities division for the painter Ms. Chro Salah Aldeen.

Then, committee of organizing the institutes and universities in Halabja in cooperation with Gender Equality Center at UoH offered appreciation awards towards a number of women at UoH, College of Practical Sciences, Technical Institute of Halabja and Fine Arts of Halabja.
