Dr. Mahabad Kamil Abdullah, UoH president, Dr. Ranjdar Mohammed Aziz, vice-president for Students Affairs and a number of UoH council members warmly received an Education and Higher Education Committee of Iraqi Parliament headed by Dr. Miqdad Jamily.
A meeting was arranged in which both sides discussed a number of important topics with the deans and heads of the departments. Besides, everyone highlighted the importance of mixed-culture between universities especially by enrolling students from the middle and south of Iraq and vice versa. Further, both sides discussed building scientific bilateral relations between KRG universities and the middle and south universities of Iraq.
In addition, Dr. Mahabad stated that UoH has a strong relations with other universities in Iraq and they take every step to internationalize UoH.
The committee also visited numerous labs and places at UoH.
Finally, UoH logo was awarded to the Education and Higher Education Committee of Iraqi Parliament.
