The course duration was 9 months and run virtually twice a week by the Career Development Center of the universities of Halabja, Charmo and Garmian. The course instructors at the UoH were Mr. Goran Omar from the English Department, Mr. Aram Qadir and Mr. Ako Muhammad from the Department of International Trade. The course was designed for senior students and the selection process included distribution of application forms to all students from which only 50 made it to the course. It received generally positive reviews from students. “Throughout the course, we were introduced to different marketing strategies and career opportunities”, said Miran Abdulrahman a participant from English Department. “We were initially taught in the lecture halls, but with the emergence of the covid-19, we had to continue virtually. In both cases, students had a good chance to improve their skills in their future career paths and choices”, he further added. “The participants had the opportunity to plan, initiate and launch their desired projects”, said Ihsan Muhammad, another course participant. “At the end of the course, top 15 students were selected and were given the chance for a one-month entrepreneurship in Halabja”, he also mentioned.
