A delegation from UoH including Asst. Prof. Dr. Dana Abdualla Tahir, Vice-president for Scientific Affairs, Mr.Arian Ali Hamid, Director of International Academic Relations and Mr.Ako Ibrahim Faqe, the PhD student and UoH representative at the University of Kurdistan/Sanandaj paid a visit to a number of Iran Universities namely Bu Ali Sina, Tehran, Hamadan in May 25 of 2019.

The aim of the visit was to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and build bilateral relations with numerous Iranian Universities.

Firstly the delegation visited Hamadan University in Hamadan and were received by University President, University Counsel, director of Academic Relations and director of Persian Language Center.a meeting was arranged in which the President of Hamadan University warmly welcomed the delegation of UoH.

Later, the vice president of UoH expressed gratitude towards the Hamadan University for extending such a warm welcome.

During the meeting, both sides discussed building the academic relations and activating the articles of the signed MoU by both parties which includes a number of joint works, activities, cooperation together etc.

Then, the delegation of UoH visited the Persian Language Center and held a meeting with its Director in order to discuss in depth the process of teaching and instructing the Persian Language.

The delegation also paid a visit to Guilan University on May 28 of 2019 and they were warmly received by University President, Vice President for Scientific affairs, director of Academic Relations ,Persian Language Center and foreign student Affairs.

In return, the UoH delegation expressed their appreciation towards Guilan University for the warm hospitality they offered them.

Later, in a meeting they mentioned the relations between both Universities which was strived for the joint Scientific and cultural works, the process of admitting the students and learners at Guilan University.

During the visit the delegation also visited College of Physical Education of Guilan University and had a meeting with Dean and Counsel of College of Physical Education.

Besides, they visited Engineering and Art Colleges.

At the end, the UoH logo was presented to Guilan University. it is also worth noting that the delegation also met with the students from Halabja Governorate who are studying at Guilan University.
