Among the Scientific and cultural activities which were held to mark the (31) anniversary of the Halabja Chemical attack by Halabja University, UoH conducted a panel on Halabja as a source of inspiration and Genocide &Compensation.

The political figure Mala Bakhtyar, Governor of the Halabja Government, Mr. Azad Tofiq, UoH President, Dr.Tahseen Abdulkarim, UoH lecturers, employees, public figures and families of the Victims attended in the panel.

The panel was presented by Mr. Ako Mohammed Tofiq.

The first panel was presented by Dr. Najih Gulpy entitled, “The Panorama of Chemical Bombardment of Halabja” The second panel was presented by Dr. Faraidoon Moradian under the title, “Health Perspectives among Halabja’s civilian survivors of Sulfur Mustard Exposure with Respiratory Symptoms-a Qualitative Study’’ The third panel was offered by Dr. Mohammed on Halabja as a source of Power and Light for the New Generation.

The fourth panel was presented by Mr. Hazhar Hoshyar entitled, “The Compensation of the Crime of Genocide”.
