Directorate of General Registration

The General Registration Directorate forms part of the Presidency of University of Halabja (UoH). It was established through the university decree number 2/5/205 on 30th of March 2011. The main duty of the directorate involves all the matters related to the BA students from the start of the academic year through to its conclusion including summer vacation. The General Registration Directorate consists of three divisions including Registration, Certificates and Students Dossiers.

General Registration Director:    Farman Abdalrahman Mohammed

Registration Division Head: Ms. Bahra Ismail Hamid

Certificates Division Head: Mr. Balen Faraj Rahim

Students Dossiers Division Head: Mr. Hamza Aziz Rashid

The main duties and responsibilities of the three divisions are shown briefly down below:

Registration Division:

  • Receiving and documenting all the official letters that the General Registration reaches, followed by working on the letters based on their contents.
  • Managing the distribution and issuing all official letters or documents originating from the General Registration Directorate.

Students Dossiers Division:

  • Documenting and observing all the official letters that the General Registration receives regarding students dossiers.

Certificates Division:

  • Providing certificates to graduates.
  • Validating certificates in general for all students who are awarded certificates based on their university graduation decree.
  • Recording and archiving certificates in individual files at the directorate.
