Directorate of Quality Assurance of the College of Basic Education held a seminar entitled “ The Century of Metaphorical Society- Smartphones and Building Identity in Social Media” on the 6th of November 2018. The seminar was presented by Mr. Ismail Osman who has MA in Social Relations Science/ Culture and Media. Mr. Osman introduced the different concepts of Smartphones including the role of smartphones in forming identity of individuals and society through smartphones, the role of smartphones in setting up media community and social networking.
