A group of UoH academic staff including the university’s president, Dr. Mahabad Kamil Abdullah, Head of IRO, Dr. Barzan Hadi Hama Kareem and the Head of Quality Assurance, Mr. Aram Qadir Muhammad participated in the 2nd Partnership Meeting in Italy between 15 and 17 of March, 2022.

The meeting, in which staff members of 8 Kurdish universities, European HEIs as well as representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of KRG attended and which lasted for 2 days, was organized by the Mediterranean Universities Union (UNIMED) and was hosted by the University of Pisa in Pisa in Italy.

The general purpose of the meeting was to share and give a recap on what has been already done and what will have to be done regarding the project; namely, good practices and experiences about autonomy, quality assurance and good governance.
