APPRAIS Project has been featured in a news article by Al-Fanar Media which is a nonprofit news organization covering latest developments in areas of education, research and culture in the Arab world.
The news article, which has been published for both English and Arabic readers on the 21st of February, 2022, presents a fairly detailed explanation of the project and sees it as a “Model for Iraq in University Reform”.

APPRAIS Project brings together universities from Kurdistan and Europe lead by the Rome-based association UNIMED for purposes of reform and improvement in higher education and governance.
The Project started last year and have help several meetings mostly virtual. The successful implementation of the project will add to the attractiveness of Kurdistan region universities towards foreign students.

It is expected that 56 leaders of the universities including presidents, vice-presidents, heads of international relations offices and quality assurance officers as well as upskilling 80 administrative staff and 160 other staff benefit from the project for institutional training of trainers.
