Dr. Nariman Abdulla, Dean of College of Humanities, paid a visit to South Korea to participate at “Peace and Together 2018 HWPL World Summit” on 17th of September 2018. The summit lasted for four days in which the UoH representative participated in a number of meetings, conferences and special sessions on peaceful coexistence of various religions. Dr. Nariman participated in Peace Education Development Forum for Global Advancement which was held under the theme of “Looking into a Future of Peace through Peace Education” in which the role of University and the academic centers about the development of peaceful coexistence of various religions were discussed. All the summit participants were called out for the inclusion of peace education as a compulsory course within the curriculum of schools and other educational institutions. Dr. Abdulla also participated in another special conference entitled “Peace in the Vision of Different Religions”. In the second day of His Visit Dr.Nariman took part in high-Level Religious Leaders’ Conference for Alliance of Religions, private Conference for Religious Leaders which was under the title of the view point of Holy scriptures regarding Peace and Coexistence of various religions.4th International Religious Leaders Conference ‘’Spreading the Culture of Seeking a Trustworthy Scripture to Realize the Era of Peace. On the third day of his visit, Dr. Abdualla together with other nation’s figures had a special meeting with Mr.Gi Su Bali ,Director of Administration of HWPL. In the meeting, the UoH representative shed some lights on the past joint works and activities between the UoH and HWPL Organization. Besides, he further explained the future projects which will be accomplished based on the cooperation between both parties. In return, Mr.Su expressed his gratitude towards UoH for the previous international conference on peace and Coexistence and hoped for the continuation of such activities. At the end of the meeting, the UoH award was given to the Manager of the organization. On the Last day of the Conference, UoH representative held a closed meeting with responsible of Youth activity of the organization Mr. Yun Jin kim in which a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between both parties and future plan and activities were highly discussed. At the same day, Dr. Abdulla took part in another conference at Bingo university which was arranged to the former Presidents of Romania, Slovinia and number of world figures to share their experience in performing peace and coexistence. At the end of the Conference, “a Peace Festival for 2018 Peace Conference 4th Anniversary of the WARP Summit” was organized and UoH representative awarded the Chairman of HWPL Organization Mr.Man Hee Lee. The UoH got invitation from HWPL organization based on holding the series of joint activities in the cooperation of both parties
