Mr. Karwan Muemin Ali and Miss. Paraw Nariman Abdulkarim, the UoH students, were appointed as the University representatives together with a delegation consisting of a delegation from MOHESR of KRG and (9) nine other Kurdistan Universities students to go on a scientific expedition to China for the duration of (10) days on September 2018. In China, the ten qualified students who were chosen from Kurdistan Universities paid a visit to number of historical, cultural and technological places. They also visited one of the largest and most pretigious research universities which is Peking University in Beijing city. The UoH qualified students provides the mentioned university lecturers and students with a presentation entitled “Halabja City and The University of Halabja” in which they clarified the history of Halabja city, Halabja Chemical Attack and the University of Halabja at Peking University. The aim of the UoH students despite the scientific trip is to build a bilateral relation between the Halabja and Peking Universities and other China Universities. The scientific expedition to China is organized annually based on the agreement between Dr. Yusif Goran, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chines Consulate in Hawler on 29th of June 2016. Scientific Expeditions affect the students positively because it leads them to learn about foreign nations and progressions which are the main aim of organizing this scientific expedition by Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Students.
