The Second International Sport Championship was organized by the University of Halabja (UoH) on May 18, 2024. The event was attended by Prof. Mahabad Kamil Abdullah, UoH president; Assist. Prof. Farzadi Parsa, vice-president of Kurdistan University/Sanandaj; and several UoH members and lecturers and studnets. Initially, Dr. Ako Ibrahim Faqe gave a speech, expressing gratitude to everyone who helped the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences organize this significant event. Following this, the UoH president addressed the attendees, highlighting UoH’s strides towards internationalization and emphasizing the importance of the competition in bringing people together for such a vital event. Later, Assist. Prof. Farzadi Parsa delivered a speech, appreciating UoH’s hospitality and the organizers of the championship. He also spoke on the importance of the event, which promotes peace and coexistence among the three universities: Kurdistan/Sanandaj, Halabja, and Sulaimani. The event also featured the announcement of the results of the games from the second international sports championship of UoH, with awards presented to the winning teams.
