College of Science Hosts a Workshop entitled, “The Role of Lecturers and Students in the Process of Quality Assurance in National Universities Ranking” On the 6th of November 2019, UoH College of Science conducted a workshop under the title, “The Role of Lecturers and Students in the Process of Quality Assurance in National Universities Ranking” which was presented by Mr. Karwan Mahdi, UoH lecturer and Mr. Hardi Rafaat, the lecturer at Sulaymaniah Polytechnic University.

During the workshop, numerous topics were discussed including developing and promoting higher education in education sectors which finds itself in a number of procedures and units in which student status is taken into account as it has impact on the process.

Besides, one can say that the importance of role of students on the process is not less than what role lecturers play on the Quality Assurance and in National Universities Ranking.

In another part of the workshop, the importance of National Universities Ranking was fully explained and illustrated and also the role of academic staff and students were highlighted in the process.
