On the 25th of April 2019, Dr. Latif Rashid, the politician and Iraqi former minister of ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources accompanied by Halabja governor Mr. Azad Tofiq paid a visit to the UoH. Dr. Latif Rashed and his delegation was warmly received by the UoH president Dr. Tahseen Abdulkarim Al- Zangana. The purpose of the visit was to participate in the UoH campaign of collecting books by offering (1000) thousand books to the UoH library.
